Thank you for your interest in the employment-focused training for former offenders at Chattanooga Endeavors.Orientation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 (8:00 AM – 10:30 AM) online.
To participate you will need to have access to the internet and either a computer with a webcam or a smart phone. We have moved our training online as a result of Heath Department recommendations related to COVID-19.
Although you will not be physically present at our facility, we ask that you treat this like you would any other employment opportunity. Therefore, please dress like you would for a job interview; and have the following items with you, if you have them:
- State Issued Picture ID
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
This two week course is the cornerstone of our program which is designed to assist you with both employment and your other goals. If you finish the course, you’ll receive a Work Readiness Certificate and access to our job acquisition, case management, and peer support services — for as long as it takes for you to achieve your goals.
We will cover everything you need to know about the course at orientation. However, if you have a question that can not wait, please contact us by replying to this email or by calling (423) 266-1888.

Merit Based Training
Please be aware that, our training is both merit based and individually tailored. It is merit based in that you will get out of it what you put into it. Achieving a Work Readiness Certificate requires more than simply showing up. You must complete activities and assignments that are designed to demonstrate to employers that you are a good investment for them. It is individually tailored in that we assume that your goals are your goals — and no one else’s. Inasmuch as possible, we will work with you one-on-one to help you achieve what matters most to you. This means that the course schedule listed above is the minimum time commitment. You will also be working on some things independently that concern only you.
We will cover everything you need to know about the course during the first class. That’s our on-boarding session — just like you might have for a new job. However, if you have a question that can not wait, please contact us at:
