Chattanooga Endeavors does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or any other characteristic protected by law, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of employees, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our employees, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

- We will not discriminate on the basis of any personal characteristic protected by law in the recruitment, selection, engagement, promotion, or termination of any volunteer, board member, employee, or client.
- Harassment based upon any characteristic protected by law under any condition is not be tolerated.
- No person will be adversely affected with our our organization as a result of reporting discrimination or unlawful harassment.
- If a board member, volunteer, employee, or client feels that he or she has been discriminated against or harassed, he or she should immediately report the matter to his or her supervisor. If that person is not available, or there is a reason to believe that it would be unproductive to inform that person, his or her superior or human resources should be contacted.
- All reports of discrimination and harassment will be promptly investigated in as discreet and confidential a manner as is possible under the circumstances.
- The procedure for reporting incidents of discrimination or harassment is not intended to impair, replace, or limit the right of any employee to seek a remedy under available state or federal law by reporting the matter to the appropriate state or federal agency.
Violation of this policy will lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of service with Chattanooga Endeavors.
